Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Amir Hamza is a 2-years-old boy infant, has been with severe pneumonia, a serious lung infection that causes inflammation and fluid accumulation in the airways. He is experiencing persistent fever last 2 days, cough, rapid and labored breathing, and chest indrawing, all of which indicate significant respiratory distress. Due to his young age, the infection has progressed quickly, making his condition critical and requiring urgent hospital-based treatment with oxygen and antibiotics.

Background
Amir Hamza is a cheerful and playful 2-year-old boy who brings endless joy to his parents and sister, and his family dreams of watching him grow up healthy and strong. His father is the sole earning member, working as a daily laborer and earning only BDT 5,000 per month, while the six-member family lives in a small tin-shed house, making the cost of hospital treatment impossible to afford. When Hamza developed severe pneumonia with high fever and difficulty breathing, his condition rapidly worsened, leaving his family terrified as he required oxygen support and urgent medical care. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Sadika Rahman, giving them hope during this life-threatening emergency. Without timely treatment, severe pneumonia could lead to worsening breathing problems, severe infection, permanent lung damage, or even death
Medical history
Amir Hamza is a 02-years-old child, had been battling recurrent respiratory tract infections for the past few days, but this time, his condition worsened as he developed pneumonia. In desperate need of emergency hospitalization, he received critical care at City Clinic, including oxygen therapy, nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, budesonide, and injectable antibiotics, along with hydrocortisone due to the seriousness of his condition.Hamza was admitted on 17/06/26, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 22/06/26. Now, after receiving the care he needed, Hamza is doing well and has returned home, bringing joy back to his family. With tears of gratitude in their eyes, his parents said, "Thank you to Helpster Donors and City Clinic; we are forever grateful for your support!"
Prognosis
According to the doctors, with timely treatment using appropriate antibiotics, oxygen therapy, and supportive care, Amir has a strong chance of recovery and can go on to live a healthy, normal life. Early and complete treatment will help clear the infection, improve his breathing, and prevent long-term damage to her lungs. However, if the child is left untreated, the pneumonia may rapidly worsen, leading to severe breathing failure, blood infection (sepsis), or even death. At such a young age, delays in treatment greatly increase the risk of permanent complications or loss of life. Immediate medical intervention is therefore critical to saving Hamza's life and securing his future.
