Anika Sultana Mishti is a bright, compassionate, and determined 18-year-old girl who lives with her parents and three younger siblings, working hard to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor and serving underprivileged people. Her father is the family's only earning member, driving a rented Tomtom, and after paying the daily rental fee, his remaining income is barely enough to provide food, education, and other basic necessities, leaving the family unable to afford the cost of surgery, hospitalization, medicines, and follow-up care. After learning about Helpster Charity during a medical outreach program at Kutupalong, the family sought assistance in the hope of helping Anika recover and continue her education. Despite exhausting their limited resources, they cannot continue her treatment without financial support. Without timely surgery, her fibroadenoma complicated by acute mastitis may progress to severe breast infection, abscess formation, tissue damage, bloodstream infection (sepsis), and other serious complications that could threaten her health and significantly affect her future.

Anika Sultana Misti, an 18-year-old girl, was admitted to Orion Hospital on 14.07.2026 through Helpster volunteer Md. Younus with a gradually enlarging lump in her right breast. After clinical evaluation, she was diagnosed with fibroadenoma of the right breast and successfully underwent excision of the fibroadenoma under general anesthesia on 19.07.2026. She remained hospitalized for seven days and was discharged on 21.07.2026 in stable condition with medications and follow-up advice. Her treatment was fully supported by Helpster Charity, and her family sincerely thanks Helpster, volunteer Md. Younus, and the doctors, nurses, and staff of Orion Hospital for their compassionate care and generous support.

The recommended treatment includes immediate hospitalization, confirmation of the diagnosis through clinical examination and necessary investigations, followed by surgical excision of the fibroadenoma under general anesthesia, along with postoperative monitoring, pain management, wound care, histopathological examination of the excised tissue, psychological support, and regular follow-up. With timely surgery and appropriate postoperative care, Anika is expected to recover well, the infection and pain will resolve, and she will be able to return to her normal daily activities and continue her education. If left untreated, the breast infection may progress to abscess formation, extensive tissue damage, recurrent infections, bloodstream infection (sepsis), and severe pain, which could become life-threatening and significantly affect her physical and emotional well-being. Early surgical intervention provides the best chance for complete recovery and prevents these serious complications.
