About infections
Malaria is a potentially life-threatening infectious disease caused by parasites transmitted to humans through the bite of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. Once inside the human body, the parasites multiply in the liver and then infect red blood cells, causing recurrent cycles of symptoms, including high fever, chills, fatigue, and, in severe cases, organ damage or failure.This stage of the disease is defined by the evidence of vital organ dysfunction.

Background
Babel is very talkative. He is fun to spend time with because he is always joking around. He takes his studies very seriously and when he grows up he would like to be a teacher. In his spare time, he likes to play soccer with his friends. For the past few days, Babel has been experiencing joint pain, fever and vomiting. The use of over-the-counter medications did not help, the symptoms only increased. He was brought to the facility after a friend told him about the Helpster charity organization.
Medical history
Babel had been suffering from joint pain, fever, and vomiting, and over-the-counter medications provided no relief as his symptoms worsened. He was eventually brought to the facility after a friend informed him about the Helpster Charity organization. He was diagnosed with a severe form of malaria (Highland malaria), which can be fatal if not treated promptly. Thankfully, he received timely and effective treatment, made a full recovery, and has since returned to school.
Prognosis
Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences.
