Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About infections
Raj Babu has been diagnosed with right sided congenital inguinal hernia, a condition present since birth in which abdominal tissue protrudes through weakened muscles in the groin on right sides. This causes visible swelling and pain, especially during coughing, crying, or physical activity, which has increasingly affected his daily life. Without timely surgical treatment, the hernia can become trapped or strangulated, cutting off blood supply and leading to serious, life-threatening complications.

Background
Raj Babu is a cheerful and polite 6-year-old boy who loves playing with his friends and dreams of going to school regularly and building a better future. He lives with his family of four in a modest tin-made house, while his father is the only earning member and works as a daily wage laborer, earning approximately USD 57 per month, which is barely enough to meet their basic needs. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Sadika Rahman and sought support because they cannot afford the cost of Raj Babu’s treatment. He has been suffering from a painful right-sided congenital inguinal hernia for two years, with the swelling becoming more prominent during coughing and crying and increasingly painful over the past month. Without timely treatment, the hernia may become trapped or strangulated, potentially causing severe pain, intestinal complications, and a life-threatening emergency.
Prognosis
Doctors have advised that Raj Babu needs a herniotomy with repair, a surgical procedure that can completely correct his inguinal hernia and save him from further complications. With timely surgery, the pain and swelling will disappear, allowing him to return to school, play freely with friends, and grow up healthy and strong. Doctors are optimistic that after the operation he will recover well and live a normal life without long-term problems. However, if the condition is right untreated, the hernia may become trapped and cut off blood supply to the intestine, leading to severe pain, infection, and internal damage. In such situations, the condition can quickly become life-threatening, making this surgery not only important but potentially life-saving for Raj babu.
