Arman Islam is a 03 days-old boy infant, has been with severe pneumonia, a serious lung infection that causes inflammation and fluid accumulation in the airways. He is experiencing persistent fever last 2 days, cough, rapid and labored breathing, and chest indrawing, all of which indicate significant respiratory distress. Due to his young age, the infection has progressed quickly, making his condition critical and requiring urgent hospital-based treatment with oxygen and antibiotics.

Background
Arman Islam is a precious and innocent 3-day-old baby boy whose birth has brought immense joy to his parents and sister, who dream of seeing him grow up healthy and strong. His father is the family's only earning member, working as a daily laborer and earning only BDT 5,000 per month, while the six-member family lives in a small tin-shed house, making the cost of hospitalization, oxygen therapy, and medicines far beyond their means. When Arman developed severe pneumonia with fever and increasing difficulty breathing, his condition rapidly became critical, leaving his family desperately searching for a way to save their newborn. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Sadika Rahman, giving them hope during this life-threatening emergency. Without immediate treatment, severe pneumonia can quickly progress to respiratory failure, bloodstream infection (sepsis), permanent lung damage, or even death, putting Arman's fragile life in immediate danger.
Medical history
Arman Islam is a 03-days-old child, had been battling recurrent respiratory tract infections for the past few days, but this time, his condition worsened as he developed pneumonia. In desperate need of emergency hospitalization, he received critical care at City Clinic, including oxygen therapy, nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, budesonide, and injectable antibiotics, along with hydrocortisone due to the seriousness of his condition.Arman was admitted on 17/07/26, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 21/07/26. Now, after receiving the care he needed,Arman is doing well and has returned home, bringing joy back to his family. With tears of gratitude in their eyes, his parents said, "Thank you to Helpster Donors and City Clinic; we are forever grateful for your support!"
Prognosis
According to the doctors, with timely treatment using appropriate antibiotics, oxygen therapy, and supportive care, Arman has a strong chance of recovery and can go on to live a healthy, normal life. Early and complete treatment will help clear the infection, improve his breathing, and prevent long-term damage to her lungs. However, if the child is left untreated, the pneumonia may rapidly worsen, leading to severe breathing failure, blood infection (sepsis), or even death. At such a young age, delays in treatment greatly increase the risk of permanent complications or loss of life. Immediate medical intervention is therefore critical to saving Arman's life and securing his future.
