Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About fever and headache
Malaria is a life-threatening blood disease caused by Plasmodium parasites that are transmitted to humans through the bites of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes, leading to acute symptoms like high fevers, shaking chills, and flu-like illness. Sepsis is a life-threatening medical emergency that occurs when the body's immune system has an extreme, dysfunctional response to an infection, leading to widespread inflammation that can rapidly cause tissue damage, organ failure, and death

Background
A 4-year-old male child who loves to play football. He would like to be a footballer. He lives with his parents in the Makoko slum and presented at the outreach from where he was referred to our facility. Quadri presented with fever and headache and examination revealed a diagnosis of Malaria R/O Sepsis. Co-infection or progression of these diseases can lead to severe organ failure, profound septic shock, and cerebral malaria, which causes dangerous brain swelling, seizures, and coma.
Medical history
A 4-year-old male child who loves to play football. He would like to be a footballer. He lives with his parents in the Makoko slum and presented at the outreach from where he was referred to our facility. He was seen, evaluated and managed appropriately. He was sent home with the mother.
Prognosis
4 year old Quadri presented with fever and headache and examination revealed Malaria R/O Sepsis. Co-infection or progression of these diseases can lead to severe organ failure, profound septic shock, and cerebral malaria, which causes dangerous brain swelling, seizures, and coma. The prognosis is extremely critical and highly time-sensitive; while survival is possible with immediate, aggressive intravenous antimalarials and antibiotics, the risk of mortality increases significantly with every hour treatment is delayed.
