Aleya Akter is a resilient 28-year-old mother who lives with her husband, two young daughters, and her elderly parents in a family of six, doing her best to care for everyone despite their difficult circumstances. Her husband is the family's only earning member, working as a day labourer with a monthly income of approximately BDT 8,000, which is barely enough to provide food and other basic necessities, leaving the family unable to afford the cost of emergency surgery, hospitalization, medicines, and delivery-related care. After learning about Helpster Charity through volunteer Masud Rana, the family sought assistance in the hope of ensuring a safe delivery for Aleya and her unborn baby. Despite exhausting their limited resources, they cannot continue her treatment without financial support. Without timely emergency LUCS, the breech pregnancy with active labour could lead to obstructed labour, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, severe maternal bleeding, birth injury, stillbirth, and other life-threatening complications that could endanger both the mother and her baby.

Aleya Akter was admitted to Narayanganj Poly Clinic General Hospital on 23-07-2026 with a 37-week breech pregnancy in active labour. Following a thorough pre-operative assessment, she underwent a successful Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) under spinal anaesthesia and received comprehensive postoperative monitoring, pain management, supportive treatment, and close observation of both mother and baby. She remained hospitalized for four days, showed steady improvement, and was discharged on 26-07-2026 in stable condition with prescribed medications and follow-up advice. Aleya and her family sincerely express their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity, volunteer Masud Rana, and the dedicated doctors, nurses, and staff of Narayanganj Poly Clinic General Hospital for their generous financial support, compassionate care, and timely treatment, which ensured the safe delivery of her baby and protected the lives of both mother and child.

The recommended treatment is an emergency Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) to safely deliver the baby and prevent complications associated with the breech presentation during active labour. With timely surgery, appropriate postoperative care, and regular follow-up, Aleya is expected to recover well, and both mother and baby have an excellent chance of a healthy outcome. If left untreated or if delivery is delayed, the breech presentation may lead to obstructed labour, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, birth trauma, severe maternal bleeding, uterine rupture, stillbirth, or other life-threatening complications that could endanger the lives of both the mother and her baby.
