Kentall Vuguza was brought to the hospital with complaints of sore throat, difficulty in swallowing, fever, and general body malaise. On examination, his oral cavity revealed swollen and inflamed tonsils with visible pus pockets. He was diagnosed with acute tonsillitis. Due to reduced oral intake and signs of dehydration, he was started on intravenous fluids and commenced on appropriate antibiotics to treat the infection. Supportive care with analgesics and antipyretics was also provided. After completing a 5-day course of treatment, Kentall recovered fully and was discharged in good health, back to his normal self.After a follow up few days later, we were informed that she recovered and returned to her studies
