Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About immune system

Marvellous suffered multiple bee stings across his body. If a person receives multiple bee stings, they may experience severe symptoms, especially if they are allergic to bee venom. Bokoli Subcounty Hospital

Bokoli Sub-County Hospital, Sikata - Kimilili Rd, Bokoli

Background

Marvelous is a two-year-old boy who loves to play with toys. The child was healthy until he was attacked by a swarm of bees near his grandmother's house. He was admitted to the hospital with a high fever, generalized body swelling and itching.

Medical history

Marvelous was stung by bees and developed facial and scalp swelling along with body itching as a result of an anaphylactic reaction. He received prompt treatment and responded well to the medication. He is now in good condition.

Prognosis

A large number of bee stings can cause a variety of reactions in humans, ranging from local reactions such as pain, swelling and itching to systemic allergic reactions. Stings can lead to swelling of the throat and face and difficulty breathing. People with a high sensitivity to bee venom can develop a toxic reaction, symptoms of which include a sudden drop in blood pressure, heart dysfunction, and reactive arthritis.
