Precious is a four year old girl who lives with her mother at her grandmother's house. She likes to play alone instead of with her friends. She has been sick for a long time, about a month. All this time Precious has been unable to seek medical help due to financial difficulties. When her condition worsened, her grandmother tried her best to find painkillers, but they didn't help much. She arrived at the hospital quite weak with a fever.

Preciou Kadenyi presented with complains of severe headache and persistent coughing for five days. The generalized headache was of gradual onset, throbbing in nature and associated with hotness of the body that is alternating with chills. The persisitent cough was associated with severe chest pain, chest congestion and occassional difficulty in breathing. She also reported of reduced level of feeding due to poor appetute. the patient was diagnosed with anemia, severe malaria and severe pneumonia. As her condition was detoriating the quality of life, the patient was admitted inorder to get injectable ceftriaxone which is an antibiotic for treating severe pneumonia, artesunate which is used to treat severe malaria, multivitamin which helps to boost the level of appetite and ranferon for boosting blood levels. The medication mentioned above were administered under supervision to check on any adverse reactions and admission helped to maintain the correct timing. She was later discharged after three days with ranferon syrup, multivitamin, agumentin and advised to sleep under a treated mosquito net. The child is healthy and back to her day to day life.

Pneumonia should be treated with antibiotics. If left untreated, pneumonia may lead to the permanent lung damage, respiratory failure, septicaemia (infection entering blood stream and causing sepsis), pleural effusion (accumulation of fluid in the space between the lung and chest wall, which can make breathing difficult), and other life-threatening complications. If left untreated, Anemia can lead to fatigue, weakness, paleness, shortness of breath, and reduced overall quality of life. In severe cases, untreated anaemia can result in complications such as heart problems, impaired cognitive function, and compromised immune response, underscoring the importance of timely diagnosis and treatment to prevent these health issues. Treatments for anaemia might involve taking supplements or having medical procedures. Eating a healthy diet might prevent some forms of anemia.
