Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Md. Muin is a 13-year-old boy who was previously well and active until he developed high fever, severe body ache, and cough, which gradually made him seriously unwell and concerned his family. His father, Forkan Kha, is the sole earning member of the four-member family and works as a day laborer, earning only approximately USD 66–74 per month, which is barely enough to support Muin, his mother, and grandmother. Because of their limited income, the family cannot afford the hospital and treatment expenses required for Muin’s recovery. He was diagnosed with typhoid fever, and without timely treatment, the infection could worsen and lead to serious complications, potentially becoming life-threatening. The family learned about Helpster Charity through miking, giving them hope of receiving the medical support Muin urgently needs.
