Mohammad is a 5 months boy who lives with his parents in a tin shedded house. The baby was born by Caesarean section in a hospital far from Narayanganj. His father is the only earning member in his family, an agriculture worker. Mohammad's family is very poor and cannot cover the bill. A paediatrician Dr. Aziz diagnosed this case as Severe Pneumonia and sent the patient to Narayanganj Polyclinic to admit this patient with seeking help from Helpster Charity.

Mohammad was suffering from shortness of breath, cough, cold and fever. Mohammad was diagnosed with Severe Pneumonia. His case was an emergency one. He was treated with oxygen inhalation, nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, budesonide. He had to take injectable antibiotics as condition was very serious. Now Mohammad is doing well and back to his home. Mohammad's Father, Sajib, "Me and my wife were so worried about our son's condition. The local government hospital couldn't help. Pneumonia should be treated with antibiotics. If left untreated, pneumonia may lead to the permanent lung damage, respiratory failure, septicaemia (infection entering blood stream and causing sepsis), pleural effusion (accumulation of fluid in the space between the lung and chest wall, which can make breathing difficult), and other life-threatening complications. The patient was admitted and then emergency treatment was given followed by regular injectable antibiotics, nebulization, oxygen. lf left untreated, it may cause severe sepsis which may even causes death of the patient. Mohammad is doing well now and back to his normal daily life.
