Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About pulmonology
Dylan was diagnosed with Pneumonia and Allergic Rhinitis. Pneumonia develops when the defensive mechanisms within the lung become overwhelmed by a pathogen which has been either inhaled or aspirated. It is associated with a high mortality rate and significant morbidity. Severe pneumonia is frequently a multisystem disease and patients will often present with multiple organ failure. Allergic rhinitis is an inflammation of the epithelial lining of the nose, arising in response to exposure to an allergen. The condition is accompanied by swelling of the mucous membrane and abundant liquid discharge. The patient's nasal breathing becomes difficult, and the sense of smell becomes worse.

Background
Dylan is a two year old boy who lives with his grandparents. He is a very cheerful boy. He enjoys spending time with his grandfather who also cares for him very much. Dylan likes to play with tires from worn out bicycles. The grandmother claims that Dylan has been restless and having difficulty breathing for the past two days. The grandmother went to the state hospital for medication, but was never able to raise the money needed to purchase the medication. When Dylan was admitted to the hospital, he was weak, restless, and had a persistent cough accompanied by chest congestion.
Medical history
Dylan was brought to the hospital with complains of hotness of the body ,weaknesss, restlessness and persistent coughing that is associated with chest congestion and occassional difficulty in breathing wth nasal congetion. He was diagnosed with severe pneumonia and allergic rhinitis. The above mentioned diseases affects the respiratory system and interferes with ability of the patient to breath well so appropriate medical interventons for servere pneumonia(infection causing inflamation of the lung tissues) and allergic rhinitis was initited immediately. He was started on augmentine syrup(antibiotic),calpol syrup(antispyretic and pain reliver) and piriton syrup(chlorpheniramine for rhinitis management) The caretaker was advised to keep the patient warm and to administer the prescribed medications appropriately. follow up and review scheduled after a week.
Prognosis
Pneumonia should be treated with antibiotics. If left untreated, pneumonia may lead to the permanent lung damage, respiratory failure, septicaemia (infection entering blood stream and causing sepsis), pleural effusion (accumulation of fluid in the space between the lung and chest wall, which can make breathing difficult), and other life-threatening complications. Allergic rhinitis is an irritation that can spread onto the eyes (conjunctivitis), cause severe inflammation of the sinuses, frequent headaches, and poor sleep quality due to breathing difficulties.
