Mohammad is a 2-year-and-8-month-old boy who lives happily with his parents and two siblings in a house made of tin sheets. He's the second child in the family. Mohammad is a very cheerful boy who loves playing with his siblings. His dad is the only one who earns money for their family, so they need financial help to pay for Mohammad's treatment. He's been sick with a cough, cold, shortness of breath, and fever. The doctors say he has severe pneumonia.

Mohammad was diagnosed with Pneumonia. He was presented to our facility with the complaints of severe respiratory infection like shortness of breath, cough, cold and fever. He needed emergency hospitalisation. He was treated with oxygen inhalation, nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, budesonide, injectable antibiotics as condition was very serious. We were desperate at that time. The Government hospital had long lines and shortages of medicine. They said they couldn't help our baby. Pneumonia should be treated with antibiotics. If left untreated, pneumonia may lead to the permanent lung damage, respiratory failure, septicaemia (infection entering blood stream and causing sepsis), pleural effusion (accumulation of fluid in the space between the lung and chest wall, which can make breathing difficult), and other life-threatening complications.
