Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About infections
Md. Mahim has been diagnosed with typhoid fever, a serious bacterial infection that spreads through contaminated food and water. The illness commonly causes prolonged high fever, severe body aches, weakness, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite. If not treated properly, typhoid can lead to dangerous complications such as intestinal bleeding or infection spreading throughout the body. With timely medical care and appropriate antibiotics, most patients recover fully and regain their normal strength and health.

Background
Md. Mahim is a 7-month-old cheerful infant who was previously well until he developed high fever for four days, leaving his mother, Mariyam, worried about his sudden change in condition. His father, Miraj Rari, is the sole earning member of the six-member family and works as a day laborer, earning only approximately USD 66–74 per month, which must support Mahim, his mother, younger sister, and grandparents. With such limited income, the family struggles to meet their daily needs and cannot afford the hospital and treatment expenses required for Mahim. He was diagnosed with typhoid fever during a seasonal outbreak in an area affected by shared toilets, poor hygiene, and limited access to safe drinking water; without timely treatment, the infection could worsen and lead to serious, potentially life-threatening complications in such a young infant. The family learned about Helpster Charity through miking, giving them hope of obtaining the medical care Mahim needs.
Medical history
Md Mahim is a 07 Month old child. Suddenly he got fever for 04 days with . His mother came to our hospital in 23rd july 2026. Doctor diagnosed this case as typhoid fever. Doctor suggests to get admitted to hospital. Doctor and Nurses provide the baby proper treatment and affectionate care. As a result, Md. Mahim comes round from her illness and becomes heathy. At 29th july 2026, we discharged him. The patient's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Helpster Charity and the hospital for their timely and effective care.
Prognosis
Doctors have advised treatment with parenteral antibiotics along with supportive therapy to effectively control Md. Mahim’s typhoid infection. With timely and complete treatment, his fever will gradually subside, his strength will return, and he will be able to resume his studies and daily activities without long-term effects. Proper medical care will also prevent the infection from spreading and protect his vital organs. However, if left untreated, typhoid can lead to severe complications such as intestinal perforation, internal bleeding, bloodstream infection, and even become life-threatening. Early intervention is therefore essential to ensure his full recovery and safeguard his future health.
