Background
Usman is a 17 y.o. adolescent, who lives together with his father. Usman loves playing soccer, riding a bicycle, and hiking. Now he is not able to take on his hobbies due to right lumbar pain, lower abdominal pain and dysuria that has lingered for quite some weeks. Usman was diagnosed with Pyelonephritis and skin infection.
Medical history
Treated successfully on the 18th of May for right pyelonephritis and discharged home on the 21st of May 2023
Prognosis
The patient was presented to our facility with a localised pain at right lumbar region, lower abdominal pain and dysuria. If left untreated, it can lead to kidney failure, a life threatening condition, as well as the severe pain and discomfort in the patient.
