Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

These symptoms worsened yesterday, leading to her absence from school today.
Medical history
Noel has been unwell for some time, managing her symptoms with painkillers. She has been experiencing abdominal pain, malaise, and rigors with chills. She was diagnosed to be suffering from giardiasis which could be managed as an outpatient. She was put on medication to take at home for a few days, after which, after completion of the medication, she was to come back to the hospital for follow up. She was well when she came for follow up, and said that all the symptoms had subsided.
Prognosis
Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences. Giardiasis can lead to dehydration, decreased nutrient absorption, and the development of chronic gastrointestinal problems. Some patients may develop allergic reactions to the parasite, increasing the risk to overall health and raising the likelihood of other infections and illnesses.
