When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About dick was diagnosed with severe malaria and gastroenteritis
Severe malaria occurs when infections are complicated by serious organ failures or abnormalities in the patient's blood or metabolism. Gastroenteritis is the inflammation of the stomach and intestines, typically resulting from bacterial toxins or viral infection and causing vomiting and diarrhoea.

Background
Dick is a sixteen-year-old boy who lives with his maternal grandparents. His parents separated when he was young, and his mother chose to have him live with her parents. Since then, Dick has been raised by his grandparents. His grandfather, the family's sole provider, is also in poor health. Despite these challenges, Dick is determined to become an engineer and is committed to excelling in school. His grandmother received an urgent call from his school, informing her that Dick had fainted in class due to severe abdominal pain. They requested that she pick him up immediately for medical attention. On her way to the school, she was filled with worry about how to afford Dick's medical treatment with their limited funds. Recognizing their desperate situation, she turned to Helpster Charity for support.
Medical history
Dick fainted in class due to severe abdominal pain. Upon examination, there was marked tenderness at the epigastric region and he was immediately put on medication to reduce that. Tests were done to confirm whether he had peptic ulcers disease. He stayed in hospital for a couple of days, being observed as the intravenous medication was also administered and he got better, was discharged while in perfect health
Prognosis
Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences. Gastroenteritis can cause significant loss of fluids and electrolytes through vomiting and diarrhea. Without proper treatment, dehydration can become severe and require urgent medical attention.
