Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Ayus's Mother says: "I am worried about my child. His condition doesn't improve. Government hospital couldn't help us dues to lack of medicines and the price of treatment. We have met Dr.Aziz from Narayanaganj Polyclinic who told us about Helpster Charity. The hospital has started treatment but we will still need to pay the hospital. I beg Helpster Heroes to support us to cover the treatment cost. Thank you!"
Medical history
Ayus, a 5-month-old baby boy, was suffering from severe pneumonia. Despite multiple courses of antibiotics from a local pharmacy, his condition continued to worsen, necessitating emergency hospitalization. Upon his arrival, Ayus received oxygen therapy and nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, and budesonide. He also needed injectable antibiotics and corticosteroids due to the critical nature of his illness. Fortunately, he has made a significant recovery and is now back home with his parents. Filled with joy, his parents shared their heartfelt appreciation: "We were incredibly anxious about our little Ayus. Without the support of the medical team and Helpster Heroes, we don’t know what we would have done. Thank you for saving our son!" Their smiles reflect the immense relief and happiness they feel now that Ayus is healthy once more.
Prognosis
Pneumonia should be treated with antibiotics. If left untreated, pneumonia may lead to the permanent lung damage, respiratory failure, septicaemia (infection entering blood stream and causing sepsis), pleural effusion (accumulation of fluid in the space between the lung and chest wall, which can make breathing difficult), and other life-threatening complications.
