Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About digestion system

Peace was diagnosed with Gastroenteritis and Malaria. Gastroenteritis is the inflammation of the stomach and intestines, typically resulting from bacterial toxins or viral infection and causing vomiting and diarrhoea. Severe malaria occurs when infections are complicated by serious organ failures or abnormalities in the patient's blood or metabolism.

Background

Peace lives with her grandmother and she is a cheerful and energetic girl who enjoys playing with shakers. Five days ago, she began showing signs of irritability, and shortly after, her grandmother observed that Peace was also losing her appetite, which coincided with a fever and cough. In an attempt to manage the symptoms, her grandmother was en route to the local shop to purchase painkillers—hospital treatment being beyond their financial reach—when she encountered the village elder. The elder informed her about Helpster Charity, an organization that provides assistance to sick children in need at the hospital.

Medical history

peace had poor appetite hotness of the body ,vomiting and running nose, crying a lot peace's grandmother and mother did not have money to take peace to the hospital. The condition had worsened four days ago, when the grandmother realized that there was a lot of cry and poor feeding habits and the child had fever. She was treated as an inpatient with intravenous fluids and medication. A home visit done a week after discharge confirmed that the child was doing well.

Prognosis

Gastroenteritis can cause significant loss of fluids and electrolytes through vomiting and diarrhea. Without proper treatment, dehydration can become severe and require urgent medical attention. Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences.
