A bladder stone is a hard, mineralized deposit that forms in the urinary bladder. Symptoms of bladder stones may include pain or discomfort in the lower abdomen, frequent urination, difficulty urinating, bloody or cloudy urine, and sometimes visible blood in the urine.

Background
Julaibib is a seven-year-old boy from a poor family who loves playing with his friends. He dreams of becoming an engineer when he grows up. About two months ago, he began experiencing symptoms including difficult and painful urination, as well as lower back pain. Although the pain has lessened with medication, he remains in a serious condition because he is unable to urinate due to a bladder stone. Upon arrival at the hospital, he was diagnosed with acute urinary retention and requires emergency surgery.
Medical history
Julaibib is a seven-year-old boy from a poor family who loves playing with his friends. He dreams of becoming an engineer when he grows up. About two months ago, he began experiencing symptoms including difficult and painful urination, as well as lower back pain. Although the pain has lessened with medication, he remains in a serious condition because he is unable to urinate due to a bladder stone. Upon arrival at the hospital, he was diagnosed with acute urinary retention and requires emergency surgery. He was admitted for surgery on 26th March,2024.Had a successful surgery,he was stable and discharged home on 31st March,2024. Julaibib is now doing better and happy. His parent and siblings are all happy.
Prognosis
Treatment of larger bladder stones may require procedures such as lithotripsy (breaking the stones into smaller pieces using sound waves) or surgical removal. Additionally, measures to prevent the recurrence of bladder stones may include dietary changes, increased fluid intake, and addressing underlying conditions that contribute to stone formation.
