Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Maimuna is a twenty-year-old girl from a poor family. She is an introvert and loves creativity. She makes hats to support her poor family. In the future, she dreams of becoming an influential entrepreneur. About five months ago, she started having right lower back pain and urinary problems. She went to various medical facilities where she was initially diagnosed with a Right Kidney Stone, but the family did not have enough money to pay for surgery. When Maimuna learned about the charity organization Helpster, a volunteer came to visit her in their slum. She was then quickly referred to the UMD clinic for treatment. There she was examined and scheduled for surgery.

Medical history

She is a 20 year old child of her parent from poor home. She is introverted and likes creative arts as she is involved in hat making to support her poor family. She has dream to become an influencial entrepreneur in the future.

Prognosis

Larger stones might require more extensive treatment like using sound waves to break up the stone (lithotripsy), surgery to remove very large stones, or using a scope passed through the bladder to remove smaller stones. Kidney stones can cause excruciating pain as they move through the urinary tract. If left untreated, the stone may continue to pass or become lodged in a position that causes persistent, severe pain.
