Jane is a joyful four-year-old girl who loves playing hide-and-seek, drawing pictures, and skipping rope. She enjoys drinking milk and eating bread, biscuits, and ice cream. Jane aspires to be a teacher when she grows up. Three months ago, Jane began experiencing pain during urination. Her mother also noticed wounds in the vaginal and anal regions. Initially, Jane was treated at a government dispensary, but her condition recurred two weeks later. She was then referred to the county referral hospital, where it was recommended that she undergo thorough investigations. However, due to a lack of funds to cover the hospital bill, Jane has not received the necessary medical help. When Jane's mother learned about the Helpster Charity from a volunteer, she approached them seeking assistance for her daughter's ongoing medical issues.

Three months ago Jane started experiencing feeling of pain when urinating, wounds on the vaginal and anal region, itching around the vaginal region and foul smelling vaginal discharge. She was taken to government dispensary where she was treated, two weeks later the condition recurred and she was referred to the county referral hospital where she was advised to look for money so that the child can be investigated thoroughly to rule out other medical conditions, but due to lack of funds to facilitate the hospital bill the child was not taken to the referral hospital. When the mother heard of Helpster Charity from a Helpster Charity Volunteer, she came to seek for help. Immediately the parent signed the consent, Jane was properly investigated and treated with appropriate medication. She was given medication to continue at home, two weeks later her mother brought into the hospital for check up, and it was confirmed that the condition had improved. Jane is happy again and she is able to continue with her daily activities in school.

To treat vulvar ulcers, antiviral or antibiotic medications are prescribed based on the specific infection. For example, acyclovir or valacyclovir for herpes simplex virus (HSV), or antibiotics like azithromycin or ceftriaxone for bacterial infections.
